KOMTEP 2018 - THE BOOTCAMP

Believe it or not yes we do have a bootcamp for KOMTEP. Jangan memain. Haha. So untuk bootcamp ni, 20 orang yang lepas saringan temuduga tu WAJIB ikut kem persediaan ni tetapi hanya 10 orang guru Malaysia akan dipilih untuk mewakili Malaysia ke Korea. Bukan mudah, mencapai bintang berkelipan... uuuu yeah.. Hahahaha. Kalo zaman AF kira ni prelude la :p.. So bootcamp ni telah dijalankan pada ketetapan berikut :

Tarikh : 14-16 Mei 2018
Tempat : Bahagian Teknologi Pendidikan Negeri Sembilan, Port Dickson

Time ni semua dah boleh claim dah, tak macam time interview, Alhamdulillah. Apa yang kitorang buat? Sangat banyak! Nak cerita satu satu memang 10 page pun tak habis. tapi secara generalnya, nama pun kem pra-persediaan dan pemilihan, aktiviti pun mostly menjurus kepada menyediakan mental dan emosi kami sekiranya terpilih untuk ke Korea. Again, ditekankan : MENTAL dan EMOSI.. Hahaha

But what I personally love the most about this camp was, it really changed my mind & mindset about my profession and role as a teacher and my responsibilities if I got selected to be one of the Malaysia representative. Time ni la baru sedar betapa beratnya tanggungjawab yang perlu digalas sekiranya terpilih untuk KOMTEP ni.

So just to mind you guys, KOMTEP is not a joke, even this bootcamp was not a joke at all. You'll be crashed down, most probably. Its up to you to adjust and adapt yourself to the pressure and such & evaluate yourself if you really up for the challenges and the big responsibilities you have to carry. It is no vacation nor a field trip, but it is you bringing Malaysia name to Korea and to the other people and teachers from another countries.

Enough with the speech, in the end, Alhamdulillah I got picked as the 10!!! Gila tak happy masa tu memang speechless rasa sebab yang pi bootcamp 20 orang tu semua hebat-hebat. Anyway, result ni tak keluar terus after bootcamp ni because there was a long evaluation to pick the final 10. After more than a week, baru kitorang dapat tahu the result :)

& no, we dont just go to Korea after that, theres another stage which I will share with you guys in the next post. Till then, ciao ^^
